S&P Global is looking for a Lead Software Developer to design, build, and maintain the systems powering its strategic data distribution platform. The role focuses on developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Core Java and modern cloud technologies. You will work on architecture, backend development, distributed systems, and framework creation while collaborating with global teams on business-critical projects.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Core Java (17–23) and object-oriented programming.

• Good understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL databases and query optimization.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (JUnit, Mockito).
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or SNS/SQS.
• Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React); Python knowledge is a plus.
